If you're experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 or have tested positive, timely treatment is crucial. At Lancaster Wellness Pharmacy, we provide Paxlovid, a proven antiviral medication that can significantly reduce the severity of the virus when administered early in the course of infection.

Our pharmacist(s) here at Lancaster Wellness Pharmacy will be administering the test and relaying the results once complete.

It depends; if you are requesting a test for reassurance, the specific test may not matter. If you are looking to get tested for work or to visit a specific location, please check with them as they may have more details on the requirements.

Please see our information on timing below:
Rapid Antigen Test: 15-20 minutes
PCR: 24 hours (but may take up to 48 hours)
PCR same-day results: 6-8 hours after results arrive at the lab.
We send our specimens to the lab at 3 pm each day.

The sample is collected the same way other COVID-19 tests are conducted in the pharmacy: A swab in the front part of the nose. This is known as an ‘Anterior Nasal Swab’.
